Etalex manufactures printed labels and tags in Cairo and has done so since 1952. We print self-adhesive labels and specialty label solutions using letterpress, rotary offset, flexography, silk screen and digital printing, with hot stamping, embossing and multilayer constructions in-house. Our management systems are certified to ISO 9001, GMP and HACCP.

Self-adhesive labels are the core of our certified scope, which covers their design, pre-press, manufacture, printing, conversion, finishing and supply. We print them with flexographic, offset, screen and digital processes for pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, detergent, lubricant and industrial packs. Tell us your container and conditions of use.

Hot stamping uses a heated die to transfer metallic foil onto a label, usually for logos, lettering and borders. It is one of the in-house processes at our Cairo factory, alongside our printing methods. Send your artwork and we will advise where foil fits.

Multilayer labels combine more than one layer in a single label, giving a pack more room for text, instructions or languages than one face allows. They are part of our premium finishing range. Share your content and pack size to discuss a construction.

Embossing raises selected areas of a label, such as a logo or name, so they can be seen and felt. Embossed labels are part of our premium finishing range for packaging. Send your design and our team will review the options.

Certifications
Our management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, GMP and HACCP. All five certificates are issued to Etalex Factory by ABS Global and are valid until 16 May 2027. The certified scope covers the design, pre-press, manufacture, printing, conversion, finishing and supply of self-adhesive labels and specialty label solutions using flexographic, offset, screen and digital printing processes.
